Orthodox News is a project born from the desire to make available news, analysis and reports to enable a better understanding of the current state of the Orthodox Church and the answers that it   proposes in response to questions arising from the contemporary Christian world and from society in general. The project is run by the Romanian Orthodox Metropolis of Western and Southern Europe, based in Paris, and is managed by an editorial committee that enjoys full editorial independence.

The journalistic approach is in accordance with the values of the Orthodox Christian faith, with respect to both ethics and morality, and is based on the principles of objective information and balance.

Most of the news comes from daily monitoring of existing Orthodox Church media. For matters that require in-depth analysis, the editorial committee requests timely support from experts in the respective topics, each author being responsible for his or her contribution.
